Cindy is a compelling, empowering and compassionate speaker in the fields of hypnosis, human behaviour and corporate development. Cindy was raised in Melbourne, in and around the family restaurant; McClure’s (an institution in its day), and was trained from an early age to have an entrepreneurial mindset.
Cindy completed a degree in business at Swinburne University after a brief dabble in a fine arts degree and a successful traineeship at Myer Melbourne where she was nominated for Junior Executive Retailer of the Year.
With her depth of experience in both the corporate environment and executive coaching, Cindy became increasingly aware of the need for some her clients to deal with their personal issues alongside their professional development. In the last decade Cindy has collaborated with osteopaths, medical practitioners, psychologists and other health professionals to create some of the most cutting edge personal and professional development programs available in Australia.
Cindy has successfully balanced a number of growing businesses, teaching and lecturing as well as most recently becoming a new mum. She loves to compete in open water swims, triathlons and in 2005 trekked Nepal as part of a fund raiser for the Guide Dogs of Victoria.
Cindy will be presenting a talk on “Learned Optimism”, described best as hard edged science blended with practical advice to acquiring optimism
